ABOUT PASTOR KIM AND MARY
Pastor Kim and Mary are lifelong Alaskans with a passion for helping individuals, couples, and families grow and know the love of God.
Their early years were spent in the Baptist side of God’s Kingdom, until 2002 when they transitioned as members to Anchorage City Church (now Kingdom Life Church). Kim served as an Elder for 7 years, and together they have served in Prayer, Worship, Pulpit ministry.
For 14 years Kim helped disadvantaged students complete their degree programs at the University of Alaska Anchorage (UAA), while adjunct teaching. Kim joined the staff at ACC in 2015 as the Executive Pastor and became the Lead Pastor in 2018.
Married for over 33 years, they have served together in ministry to youth, women, and men in both faith and marketplace venues.
Pastor Kim graduated from the University of Alaska Anchorage with a Bachelors of Science degree in Social Work, earned his Masters of Divinity in New York (Colgate Rochester Divinity School), and completed his doctoral degree in Leadership from Regent University, in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
Mary earned both her Bachelors in Psychology and Masters in Clinical Psychology from Regent University. She practices as a Licensed Professional Counselor in Anchorage.
